Customers many times want to know if their piece is worth the restoration process. We discuss where the item came from such as grandparents, or the how rare the item may be on the open market. Value isn't measured by monetary value alone, but many times more by the contextual and historical value to the customer such as an heirloom. We evaluate the work that will go into it and present the price to restore it to make it last for another generation or two and the customer makes the final decision to restore the item.
